Are Wii Fit Yet?

Nintendo threw a fit at my house last night. A Wii Fit that is.

My creation

After our little personal training session, Wii are all still smiling. I think that's a good sign.

Since I'm just a beginner I won't try to act like a pro and review it just yet. I do however plan on giving Fit a try to see what happens. God knows, I could use a little Fit in my life. I'm not an exercise kind of gal so it should be entertaining if nothing else. And I plan on sharing my progress. Did I really just say that out loud?

If you'd care to join me in having your own Fit (Wii Fit hits the stores at the end of the month) you are going to be very excited when I tell you that there is a giveaway in the making as we speak. Something along the lines of this one but with a photo twist.

More on that soon. Very soon. Wii pinky swear.

I think this post Fits nicely under the Thursdays Theme of FUN over at The Land of Ka. Sure, it may be Friday but Wii partied on Thursday so it's gotta count, right?

We had a "wine and wii" party at one of the mom's house in my local mom's group recently. Needless to say it wasn't exactly like your get together but we did get a little exercise. Although I don't recommend swingin' one of those control thingies around after a couple of glaases of cab... ; )

Yes, you just said that. :)

And it's a good thing too - will make you accountable to us!

Hey that's so cool you get to preview the Wii Fit. I'm considering heading to the stores before they open to get one! Because, seriously, I NEED to get fit!

I can't even begin to tell you how obsessed I am with this product and getting and using it! I recently had my thrid baby. I had complications after the pregnancy which had me in the hospital then on complete bedrest. It was only a week ago -- 3 months after my baby was born that I got the okay to begin to excersize. I am so ready! After each baby the weight came off and I got more fit than ever. It is harder this time. Maybe it is because I am older, maybe the monhs of being a "slug"! This would help me so much as it would add another dimension to trying to not only lose these last 15 pounds, but to get fit and toned again. Anything that gives me some variety, keeps me interested and swiches up those normal routines is not only fun -- but helps me pass those plateaus that make me crazy, crazy, crazy! We planned on getting a Wii for our kids for their birthdays later this year...but now that their Mom and Dad are starting to want it more than them...I don't think we will make it that long! It just kills my esteem to be bigger than regular -- I want to wear my jeans and be able to tuck in shirts again! I want to be able to pass along ALL of my maternity clothes and not still need some of them. Help! This is just the answer -- and would also be something to promote the fitness and fun for my whole family! (as long as they -- husband especially -- doesn't end up looking better than me! :) -- (just joking!) Thank you so much for the chance! Fingers crossed tight!
