New Places, Friendly Faces

I spent an incredible weekend with some great friends just north of Santa Barbara. There were hills to roam, animals to befriend and lots of wine to drink. OK, in my case it was beer but you get the picture. It was pretty close to heaven on earth.

How about you? Any new places or friendly faces you'd like to share on this fine Monday?

I really love that horse shot--it takes me back. When I was a kid, my dad bought me a horse. I always figured it was more interesting to comb and look at than to ride :)

Here's mine: J's doing a good job of being friendly.

We have new friends that we've been spending more time with lately which is VERY nice. But the only pictures I took were some quick shots at the park on Saturday- friend-free.

Very nice shot! The beautifully sunny day in the background with the grass and fence really add to the layout of the picture. She/he is a cutie pie!

Here's my shot, also a horse, a little fillie. :)

That's an incredibly expressive shot, I love it!

My BSM this week involved a kind of beginners' luck (by my own definition of the term, anyways :) ).
