Ease

Although my day to day life can feel far from easy I am claiming the word "ease" as my word for the new One Word Project at Shutter Sisters. In attempts to bring more ease into my life it's my word for 2009. And the above photo is my first attempt at capturing my word in a photo.

Today is the big kick off for the first month of the project so I hope you pop over and read Sarah Ji's take on it. For February you can pick your own word to translate. All the details are on the site as well as a new daily click to check out. A One Word participant will be featured each day. Inspirational stuff for sure.

And, did you hear that Lensbaby is the sponsor? Yep! One lucky reader over there can expect a new Baby at the end of the month. Believe me when I tell you the Composer is quite a welcome addition to my household. I shot the above photo with it (and it's cool optic swap system). So fun!

So...may I ask, what's your word?

I love this project! Ease is definitely a good word.

I chose peace as my word, because sometimes with two young kids, a puppy, a husband with random work hours, and my own freelance work... well, "peace" is not easily found. I figure if I spend a bit of time each day actually looking for it, maybe I'll find I have more of it than I realize.

My word is grace and I've been rather stumped on how to show that in a photograph.
