Yet another gentle reminder to slow down and enjoy the season. I'm finding that I'm getting as much done in slipper mode as I would be getting done in walking shoe mode. I encourage you to try it and see. Besides, nothing beats being loafing around in slippers when the weather outside is frightful.

A Family Portrait
It was snowy and freezing here yesterday, so we took the opportunity to make salt dough ornaments for the Christmas tree. It was a good way for me to slow down and just enjoy time with my kids.

I'm still in my pyjamas and slippers. And I've been out of the house twice (once to fill the bird feeder and the other to take the garbage out). I've accomplished more than half my list for today so I'm reluctant to get dressed now!
