Two Rooms

Ali mentioned in a recent post, "I love that many of you are changing up the project to make it fit your life. That is perfect." That's what I love about Ali. There's no pressure with her. She wants to let us off the hook and encourage us to work at our own pace and do it in a way that feels good to us. So refreshing!

I think as I mull over how I'm going to end up creating my book, I might design many pages like this. Almost like a comparison. A contrast. In this case from one daughter's room to the other.

This foursome is especially appealing to me and it represents my daughters and where they are right now, in this moment in time. It makes me very happy. It makes me appreciate who they are and how they are growing up. Becoming their own incredible people in this world. It makes me so proud.

I cannot tell you how much fun I am having with this project. What about you? Are any you playing along? I'm eager to hear how it's going for you? Are you having fun this weekend shooting your world?

i like the comparison and contrast in your foursome. it's interesting to see the differences in your girls rooms - characteristic of their ages and their personalities. great idea.
i'm playing along but in a looser fashion i guess. my daughter and i are sharing our lives in the everyday photos.

Your daugther rooms are so yummy... Really nice pictures. Surely, this will cheer you up for a loooong time. I also play along with Ali for this project. Been her long life fans. But haven't added all the pictures to my blog yet. Try to pull it together in one format first.
You have a nice day.

Just starting on a week in our life today---last week too many deadlines, too much chaos! This week feels less stressful & more "normal"---even with an escape to the beach tomorrow (not normal, but time to photograph for sure)! I like your comparison photo grouping---my daughters have flown the coop, so no comparisons here (although I did shoot a photo of the "cra_" my youngest leaves for us to go thru while she's off to college again)...
