The Best Kinds of Miracles

"I know a lot of you folks have come out to the farm and you've seen the words, and a lot of you have asked me, 'how could this have happened?'. I don't know, but it has happened... at a time when we really don't see many miraculous things. Maybe we do. Maybe they're all right there around us everyday, we just don't know where to look."
-Homer Zuckerman

What sorts of Ordinary Miracles have you found this week?

Today's post is dedicated to the miracle that is Annika.

How lovely. And miracles... yes, everyday, and we often forget to look.

That is a fantastic capture of the web. Amazing that such an extraordinary talent comes from something that totally creeps us out!

What a gorgeous photo.

I'll second what Kara said... spider webs are so beautiful, how come spiders are so ugly? :)

Mine is not so much about a miracle as it is about courage:

One of my favorite songs - and favorite finds lately outside, too! It is the ordinary miracles that make life so very lovely.

That is awesome! Miracle indeed.

You see, I really need a macro lens (or some equivalent) because we get those gorgeous webs (made by the big ugly seasonal spiders) I took a picture but it didn't come out too well.

Here's my best shot(s) this week.

They do indeed happen all around us. Between Sarah's lovely voice and your post I have goosebumps, Tracey!

Gorgeous fall weather, good food and cupcakes are ordinary miracles, yes?

What a great reminder.

My BSM was a bit of a miracle in that I had 2 kids under 2 sitting quietly and playing together off on their own under a tree while all the older siblings played frisbee and whiffle ball around them. It was so fun to watch the toddlers "communicate" and laugh at each other's "jokes" and faces and to watch them share their snack.

I don't have a miracle shot to share. I'll have to capture a miracle around here this week.

Life is full of ordinary miracles, you just have to look and recognize them for what they are. :) A lot of times I think they are missed because people don't slow down enough to see them.

Here's my best shot, not quite a miracle but a pretty something I've always wondered what they looked like up close.

yesterday i took a detour to work and wandered off to a road where 2 bambi deers were playing. i stopped and talked to them and they didn't run off. they actually kept starring at me as if they wanted to chat back. it was so sweet. this never happens, so it was a miracle boost for me! xxox

Miracle here? My son who lives with FAS and has no impulse control and runs away when he knows nothing else to do...was found and returned home safely tonight.

And I pray for continued miracles. Because one day...he may run farther.

And thank you for reminding me to check on A...and how much I adore Charlotte's Web.
