Reflecting on my Best Shot

I'm a reflections girl on many levels. This shot is one from the PhotoWalk in San Francisco. The reflection itself is a little muddy but I know it's me.

Speaking of muddy...it's been a rough week since we've lost our sweet kitty. Thanks to you all for such kind comments and well-wishes.

So, the question is, what have you been reflecting on this week? Do share your Best Shot with us.

So sorry about your kitty; it's so very hard when they take a little part of your heart with them.

Here's mine.

I'm so sorry to hear about your cat. Pets are such an touching part of our lives and it's amazing how their absence touches us.

Lovely shot. I wish I could have been on the walk with you guys! But we made up our own here.

I saw the reflection, or the "person" but it took me a minute to figure out that it was actually you - such a very cool shot! It is a great time, as summer draws to an end, for reflecting.

I've been reflecting on how grown up and Graceful my girl has become lately.

I'm sorry to hear about your kitty. It hits you harder than you ever imagined, doesn't it? :(

I don't really have a best shot--I have shots of some kickball pinatas here...but, even better, I've been spending time dreaming up this week's bloggy giveaways...as seen here.

Wow. I haven't done a BSM in a LONG time, and I'm not sure why. I'm glad to start again.
This week I'm reflecting on how precious life is after almost losing my youngest last weekend. All is well now though. Nonetheless, the effect on me has been so overwhelming, so posting about it as well as pictures is helping tremendously. Thanks for letting me!

I tell you, there are still days that I miss my little dog I had for 19 years. They are a part of the family. Hope your are getting on well. I love the reflection shot. I caught you right away - only I didn't know it was you at first.

Here is my best - er - favorite shot from the weekend. BMS

I first focused on the flowers in your picture, and then when you wrote about it I noticed the reflection. Very interesting shot.

I'm sorry you've had a hard week, and I hope that things improve.

Here's my contribution.

I'm sorry to hear about your kitty too. My son loves cats, which is odd as we don't own one, but he adores them at everyone else's house.

Unfortunately I haven't had much to reflect on except horses and more horses.

So here's a horse tongue to make you smile.

Very cool Tracey. And those flowers are really neat. What are they?

Here is my BSM. A reflection on how fast my baby is growing up!

Tracey,
I was so sorry to read about your precious kitty! I am such a cat lover; (we have five...)so your story hurts my heart. I pray that every day gets a little easier and the memories of your time with him will bring smiles and happiness to you.
Your photo is fabulous! I also did not really see the reflection until a second glance. I always adore your photos, but this one is super nice. I took your cue and went the reflective route also. I did not see the reflections in my own photo until after I posted and checked over it all. (ok, how perceptive am I?!)

This week I have been reflecting on the need to slow things down. Shall we have coffee and turn off the rest of the world for a spell?

I think we'd be in a pretty bad way without our kitties.
