Spent the afternoon yesterday with my daughter's Girl Scout Troop writing love notes to the girls of Rwanda. These will go with Jen Lemen on her trip. Along with a suitcase full of zines and her camera (of course).

That's really cool - I loved being in Girl Scouts as a kid. I was in GS while living in Japan, and I think I learned the most about Japanese culture while working with a Japanese sister troop. I hope she sticks with it!
